Why?

I chose to raise money for the Wilmer Eye Institute because of my mom. When my mom was 12, she fell off her bike and cracked her head open. When she arrived at the hospital, they gave her an unnecessary medicine that caused her to get Stevens Johnson's Syndrome, and she went blind in her right eye. She has been spending a lot of time at the Wilmer Eye Institute ever since then, as they experiment to see what they can do to make her see again. I wanted to raise money, so they can do more experiments and help other people like my mom or with other eye issues.
